The Meadows Music Festival
Music festivals that take place in the warmer months tend to have a bit of a “uniform” when it comes to knowing what to wear. While September may seem like it’s on the warmer side, there is always a huge chance that it can wind up in a transitional stage. Since it looks like The Meadows Music Festival will experience the transitional fall weather, we’ll show you how to dress for it. It seems as though wide leg velvet pants could potentially become the next trend. Update your favorite weekend lounge look with a navy pair of velvet high waist bell bottoms and a large chunky cape-like knit. A chelsea boot with a stacked heel can elevate your look or a simple pair of white Converse can keep it casual. Like any other festival, it’s best to carry a bag that not only has the room for your essentials, but, definitely goes well with your outfit. Pair this look with a fun medium-sized cross-body or a backpack with a vintage-y feel.
Carrie Underwood
Whether she is on stage performing her best pop-country hits or preparing America for Sunday Night Football, Carrie Underwood loves to show off her cool country-inspired style. On Carrie, you often see a lot of fun sparkly, floral looks, and let’s face it, she always looks like she just stepped out of a fairy tale. Her concert is definitely the place to show off your country-chic looks. Go for light colors, loose silhouettes, and soft prints for this one! Cowboy boots, like these classics from FRYE or funky chelsea boots are a MUST when it comes to Carrie. Polish off your ensemble with a sparkly clutch or cross-body(I’m obsessed with this one from Whiting & Davis– bonus, it’s on SALE!) and you’re set up to have a magical night living in a real life Carrie Underwood fairy tale.
Sia
When I think of Sia, I think of bold, beautiful, and avant-garde. Every time the “Cheap Thrills” singer steps out, she shows us how clean lines and structure absolutely make the outfit. Checking out Sia live is the place where you’re able to try out the statement pieces and monochromatic looks you’ve been waiting for. There is only one designer that completely screams out “SIA” to me in big capital letters and that is Alexander Wang- which is exactly why this embellished A.Wang cutout blazer is an absolute “IT” piece for this night out. Let the blazer do all of the talking and pair it with a bra that is more fashion than function, a structured pant, and a clean stiletto heel. Complete the look with a simple black and silver chain strap shoulder bag!
