Demi Lovato is back with a new era! Fresh off the heels of her collaborations with Cheat Codes (“No Promises”) and Jax Jones (“Instruction”), Demi has announced her next solo single, “Sorry Not Sorry,” off of her upcoming album due out later this year.
Dropping today, “Sorry Not Sorry” “is basically a song to the haters that is basically saying, “you know what? I’m good now and sorry I’m not sorry that you may not be loving where your life is at the moment,” Demi shared exclusively with Amazon Music. “A lot of people hear the song and they think it’s about a ex-boyfriend or something like that but it’s actually just a song about the haters.” The song sounds like it has the potential to be a summer anthem!

Demi shared with Billboard back in May that her next album will be “more soulful” and that she “want[s] to go more R&B with it.” It will be interesting to see if “Sorry Not Sorry” aligns with this statement.
