With Thanksgiving behind us, the holiday season is definitely upon us, and if you’re anything like me, you’re in the process of making the perfect holiday playlist to jam to in the car. Of course, we all love the Christmas classics, but I’m also here to tell you that there are a bunch of BRAND NEW Christmas albums you absolutely need to check out this year. Before finalizing your holiday playlists, check these 10 albums out. You won’t regret it!
1. Elvis Presley – Christmas With Elvis and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra
Legacy Records and Elvis Presley‘s estate released another beautiful Christmas album, following up his previous series with The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. This time, the holiday tunes will be featuring live versions of his Christmas hits and orchestrated versions songs like “White Christmas,” “Blue Christmas,” and “Silver Bells.”
2. 98 Degrees – Let It Snow
Boy band 98 Degrees is making a fiery comeback with their second Christmas album, Let It Snow. This record definitely lives up to their 1999 platinum holiday hit This Christmas, featuring songs “Little Saint Nick” and “Run Rudolph Run.”
3. Gwen Stefani – You Make It Feel Like Christmas
After dropping her title track single “You Make It Feel Like Christmas” this September, Gwen Stefani fans have been itching to hear the rest of her 2017 Christmas album. Her unique touch to classics like “Let It Snow,” “Last Christmas,” and “Santa Baby” certainly live up to the hype.
4. Smokey Robinson – Christmas Everyday
This will be Smokey Robinson‘s FIRST solo Christmas album release, and this Amazon exclusive was totally worth the wait! Christmas Everyday brings Robinson’s Motown style to holiday jams like “Please Come Home For Christmas” and “The Christmas Song”.
5. Lindsey Stirling – Warmer In The Winter
Violinist Lindsey Stirling brings a beautiful, charming twist to Christmas music on her holiday album Warmer In The Winter. Her electronic influences and killer violin playing will certainly get you in the holiday spirit. Be sure to catch her on her winter tour as well!
6. Cheap Trick – Christmas Christmas
Big Machine Records dropped this major Christmas record by Cheap Trick this October. Get ready for amped up versions of “Remember Christmas,” “Silent Night,” and “Please Come Home For Christmas,” and their new track, “Merry Christmas Darlings.”
7. Hanson – Finally, It’s Christmas
Hanson is back! Finally It’s Christmas captures the Christmas spirit and Hanson’s old school sound in one album, giving fans a blast from the past. This record includes four original tracks and eight covers of holiday classics.
8. Josh Groban – Noël Deluxe Edition
It’s not Christmas unless you hear Josh Groban‘s soulful rendition of our favorite Christmas classics, so you’ll be happy to know that he released a DELUXE EDITION of his holiday essential, Noel. Definitely check out his new additions, “Happy Xmas,” “O Holy Night,” and “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas,” this year!
9. Sia – Everyday Is Christmas
This super fun Christmas album from Sia puts an entirely new spin on your average Christmas song. Everyday Is Christmas is full of original Christmas tunes and quirky lines from our favorite songwriter, honing in on Sia’s unique style with tracks like “Puppies are Forever” and “Snowflake.”
10. The Beatles – The Christmas Records
Last but certainly not least, The Beatles have released The Christmas Records. This is a collection of recordings and songs that The Beatles made for their fan club each year around Christmas time, spanning from 1963 to 1969. “Beatle People” all over world can finally own each recording on vinyl and celebrate the holidays with one of the greatest rock bands of all time.
