Christmas came a few days early with the release of a new song by Panic! At The Disco! The song titled “Feels Like Christmas” was the band’s way of celebrating the past year and looking forward to the future ahead. The band took to their Twitter account with a message to the fans and a link for a free download of the song. ‘Tis the season of free holiday music!
Thank you all for making this year my favorite so far. Through the hard times and the beautiful moments, I’m glad we’re always there to lift each other up. I’m so excited for the new year and what’s to come.

Opening with bells to the tune of “We Wish You A Merry Christmas,” an electric guitar, trumpet, and electronic beats join in in classic PATD style. Lead singer Brendon Urie’s amazing vocal range shines on this song. With lyrics such as “Hang the pretty stockings by the chimney with care,” and “Joy to the world and all that jazz,” pays homage to some Christmas classics but with a new twist. Incorporating well-known holiday phrases into the verses of a new Christmas song was a surprising element.
While the song is more simple than some other Panic! songs, it works extremely well. Urie’s vocals are sharp and fit well with the positive and fun vibe of the song. The chorus is catchy and memorable as any modern Christmas song should be. The band took their distinctive style and perfectly crafted a cheery holiday song. With great original Christmas music like this, it really can feel like Christmas everyday.
This release comes just days after the release of the All My Friends We’re Glorious: Death of a Bachelor Live album. Panic! At The Disco had a busy year on their Death of a Bachelor Tour supporting their album of the same name. Urie also had a successful run on Broadway in Kinky Boots. This Christmas release was a great way to wrap up 2017 and leave fans with a little gift. We cannot wait to see what the group does in 2018.
