The Wrecks Stole the Stage in San Diego

The Wrecks performed alongside Dreamers and New Politics last Thursday at San Diego’s House of Blues and absolutely killed it.

Still a relatively new group, The Wrecks splashed into the Los Angeles indie-rock scene with their three-song EP We Are The Wrecks, which features their hit “Favorite Liar,” amassing over 6.5 million Spotify streams.

The guys—Nick Anderson, Aaron Kelley, Nick Schmidt, Westen Weiss and Billy Nally—had a stage presence and energy that was hard to match.

After addressing the crowd and thanking the photographers, The Wrecks pumped up the crowd with “Way With Words.” Next up, was fan favorite, “James Dean.”

Lead singer Nick Anderson jumped into the crowd, and fans could barely contain their excitement.

Anderson also teased the crowd with an unreleased song called “Life,” which he said he wrote at 19.

And, of course, finished up with their most famous single, “Favorite Liar.”

The guys’ energy set a high bar as an opening act, and their performance quality promises good things ahead in their bright future. Make sure to see them for yourself on their tour!
