How has it already been five years since Have Mercy‘s debut record, The Earth Pushed Back, was released?! To celebrate this milestone, the Baltimore-based band will be heading out on a special five year anniversary tour this summer, and we can’t wait!
The influential record featuring “Let’s Talk About Your Hair” will be played front-to-back each night beginning on June 6 in their hometown, providing an unparalleled experience for the people who have been with them since the start.
Supporting Have Mercy on this run is Philadelphia-based Kississippi (solo), Gleemer, who just finished up Movements’ first headlining tour, and Take This To Heart Records’ Super American.
Direct support Kississippi just released their debut LP Sunset Blush last Friday and are currently on tour with Dashboard Confessional and Beach Slang.
Gleemer is coming hot off of playing 27 sold-out shows on the Movements 29-date tour, and Super American are playing Spring Fling in Cleveland, Ohio on June 2 and 3 with The Front Bottoms, Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness, and more.
With the excitement of Have Mercy’s 2017 release Make The Best Of It still fresh in our minds, it’s insane to think we’re already commemorating 5-years of their music, but we couldn’t be more excited.
