Some may argue that even more so than the music, Coachella is about the fashion, and TBH, it’s kinda true! Over the years, Coachella has become an opportunity for people (famous and not) to wear the outfit of their wildest dreams in the middle of the California desert, and for weekend one of this year’s Coachella, festival-goers definitely took advantage. Take a look at last weekends best and most talked about outfits:
Kylie Jenner
New mom Kylie Jenner had the world buzzing as usual with not only her outfit and brightly colored hair, but also with her witty AF Instagram caption. Debuting her bright pink hair, she hilariously let the world know that she isn’t a “regular mom, she’s a cool mom.” A+ for the Mean Girls reference. She crushed it.
Vanessa Hudgens
Years ago, Vanessa Hudgens was dubbed the “Queen of Coachella,” and at this year’s festival, she finally found her throne. To be completely real with you, waiting to see Vanessa’s outfits at Coachella each year feels like a kid waiting for presents on Christmas morning. But more so than any year before, Baby V took a more simplistic approach, and of course, she still killed it.
Beyoncé
Coachella, or BEYCHELLA? As you already know, Beyoncé headlined on Saturday night and gave the people EXACTLY what they wanted. Equipped with a full marching band, only a few outfit changes, AND a Destiney’s Child reunion, Bey took the stage for almost two full hours. She was scheduled to headline last year, but due to her pregnancy, she had to drop out. Let’s drool over the utter perfection of this queen, shall we?
Rihanna
“Extra AF” is what Rihanna had to say about her day two outfit, but all we can say is FLAWLESS, and that goes for all three days. Her first outfit was entirely ’60s inspired and we couldn’t be more obsessed with the white-on-white trend she was going for. On day three she gave a more mysterious vibe covered in a full-on mask. She definitely didn’t disappoint in terms of Coachella fashion.
Halsey and G-Eazy
Halsey and G-Eazy slayed the term “couple goals” once again at weekend one of Coachella. G spent the weekend showcasing different floral designs, and he even performed with Cardi B on Sunday. Halsey also performed at YSL’s party, which was hosted on Friday night, and labeled herself a “garden gal.” No matter what these two wear, they’re always where everyone’s eyes are looking.
Shay Mitchell
Shay Mitchell was all smiles hanging out with the “real life barbie” Jasmine Sanders, celebrating Shay’s birthday. The duo definitely looked like they were spending their days enjoying the weather and soaking up the sun.
