New Hope Club released their newest single “Medicine” this past week and it’s the summer breakup anthem we all needed. If you’re getting over that not so special somebody, this song will be the cure. Bandmate George Smith says that, “‘Medicine’ is all about moving on from a relationship that ended up being treated badly, and how now you’re better off without that person.” The band has been teasing this song for quite some time now. They’ve been playing it live for the fans, but it wasn’t enough. New Hope Club decided to give the fans what they wanted, a studio version of the song! George Smith also stated that this song is “one of our favorite songs we’ve put out. It’s up tempo and it’s so much fun to perform live.”

New Hope Club consists of Reece Bibby, Blake Richardson, and George Smith. They have been writing songs since they were kids! All the bandmates share the same love for music and came together to create acoustic-guitar pop songs. The band has been keeping really busy lately, touring in Europe, Latin America, Australia, and New Zealand with The Vamps on their Night & Day Tour. New Hope Club also opened for label mate Sabrina Carpenter on her De-Tour last summer.
The trio is just getting started, but they’re definitely gaining traction. Last month, they played a sold out show at Manchester Arena and have amassed over 400,000 subscribers on both YouTube and Musical.ly. New Hope Club will definitely be a household name in the next few years as they were named MTV’s band to watch this year.
