Summer is here and Childish Gambino is all about it. On Wednesday morning, the rapper/comedian/actor/writer extraordinaire dropped two brand new surprise tracks, “Summertime Magic,” and “Feels Like Summer.” Both songs are apart of a new EP entitled, Summer Pack.
While the tracks are vastly different, they both have a similar style that reflects Gambino’s earlier works. Both songs are a chill, club-like vibe that will definitely soon be bumping in all the hottest spots. “Summertime Magic” is fresh, light and makes you want to get up and dance while “Feels Like Summer,” is a bit slower but still enjoyable. With lighthearted lyrics that describe the atmosphere of Summertime, Gambino’s political “Made in America” voice is nowhere to be found in either song. With these two potential Summer ’18 anthems, it’s clear that Gambino can do it all.
Following both releases, Gambino also teased a set of upcoming events called “Summertime Starts Here.” These events stemmed from a mysterious Instagram account, and the only account that Gambino follows, @summertimestartshere. The events are free and taking place from July 13th to 17th across New York, Los Angeles and London. While it’s likely that Gambino is associated with these events, it’s not clear if he is actually performing at all of them. See the full list of dates below along with the Instagram post.

At the 2017 Governors Ball Music Festival, Gambino announced that his next album will be his last. However, all of his recent activity has his fans speculating if his statement is true or not.
