Need to get through the work week? Well Kacey Musgraves brings disco and glam to the office in her new music video for her single “High Horse.”

In this 9-to-5 inspired retro video, Kacey starts out in the office surrounded by a creepy boss and annoying coworkers. The lyrics include “Everyone knows someone who knows someone who thinks they’re cooler than everybody else.” Relatable right?

We then see shots of Kacey lassoing her buzzkill co-workers as she sings the catchy chorus, “So, why don’t you giddy up and ride straight out of this town?” You and your high horse of course!

We’re then transported into her disco daydream as she sings karaoke in a sparkly jumpsuit, complete with a bedazzled microphone. We see her in a couple different glamorous outfits as she parties the night away with her friends. She then makes a memorable exit as she rides off on a white horse. When 5 p.m. comes, she’s ready to leave the office and make her daydream a reality, in oversized sunglasses and all. 

If you don’t have this country pop jam on your summer playlist yet, we definitely recommend adding it. She just finished opening for Harry Styles and is going on her own Oh, What a World Tour soon to support her album Golden Hour.
