Earlier this year, The Ready Set, A.K.A. Jordan Witzigreuter, came back two years after his last release, “I Will Be Nothing Without Your Love.” He released his first EP of this three-part series, titled V1. This EP featured the single “Life In Pink.” On August 10th, he released the second installment, called V2, and the week prior he teased the single, “Stitch” off the latest EP.
“‘Stitch’ is about facing personal shortcomings. I think a lot of negative perceptions, actions, etc. can sometimes trace back to some unresolved issues in the back of my mind, ‘Stitch,’ sort of gets into the idea of searching for, acknowledging, and unpacking those things, and then trying to move forward from there in a positive way,” Jordan explained in an interview with Just Jared.
Jordan also shared that he’s been working on this album long-term and even scratched the whole first version of V2 before we even heard any of it.

Another track he’s commented on since it was released to the world is “The Witching Hour,” and let us be the ones to tell you… it’ll make you all types of emo.
thank u dude i wrote it when i couldn’t sleep for like a week maybe i should start depriving myself of sleep more often, for art, and see what happens https://t.co/edO6kKNZPh

He even featured Call Me Karizma on the upbeat track, “Black Magic.”
Based on how this release has gone and the time leading up to it, it seems as though these songs are very special to him.

Jordan also tweeted the day V2 dropped, that V3 will be out on October 5th, so it sounds like we’ve got a lot to look forward to!
