Twenty One Pilots Bandito Music Video

Twenty One Pilots’ “Bandito” Music Video Offers a Completely Immersive Experience

This year Twenty One Pilots came back with their fourth studio album Trench and began their newest era with new colors and symbolism to share with the world. For their latest music video, the duo teamed up with Spotify for a completely immersive experience. The video takes place in the metaphorical city of DEMA and the valley of Trench outlying the city. Throughout the video, the viewer is encouraged to find some familiar symbols from their albums hidden throughout the valley.

This video ties into the previous Trench era videos through the symbols that fans are collect in the viewing experience. The first symbol viewers discover is the “Jumpsuit Medallion” featured originally in the “Nico And The Niners” music video, then the viewer moves on to the “Compass E Pitchfork,” which is also initially featured in the same video. The third symbol that fans will find is the double bars logo (||-//), which has become the main symbol of this era for the duo. The fourth symbol is the “Vulture,” while the last symbol is the “FPE Badge” that has been a relevant symbol for the band since the release of their previous studio album Blurryface.

The band has always been cryptic in the releases of their music and the visuals they give with it. This immersive visual is a way for fans to learn a little bit more about the workings of this era. At the same time, the band has created something that is completely new and different from any other music videos released at the moment.

Twenty One Pilots are currently in the middle of their Bandito World Tour that’ll go through Europe and South America early next year and come back for the second leg of shows in North America for this coming summer. The band will also headline the Reading and Leeds Festival at the end of August.
