Halsey recently claimed the number one spot on the Billboard Hot 100 charts with her hit single, “Without Me.” Along with the amazing news, she dropped a new version of the number one track featuring Juice WRLD.
The news of her hitting number one came with grateful words from Halsey! She tweeted, “I really need a sec to collect myself so I can properly express my gratitude…I’m so confused?¿ and happy?¿ thank you.”

As the single hit it’s top spot, the artist explained why she decided to release the remix with Juice WRLD.
when the events that inspired Without Me went down, this artist helped me through it all. now that the song is #1 this only seemed fitting to release… thanks @JuiceWorlddd 💚 https://t.co/oc8LCbao4v

In the Juice WRLD remix, we hear the familiar verses that the rapper is known for. He sings, “I’m sad inside, but I know it’s for the best, right? // You had to realize where you drew the line // I would cross the line a thousand times // You’ve got what I need, bae, I need your spotlight.” Immediately, the tune’s emo vibe and lyricism are elevated. It’s hard to imagine that being possible with Halsey’s already super-emo lyrics, but if anyone can push this song up the emo-meter, it’s Juice Wrld. He later sings, “So I’ll take what I can from you, then I’ll hide // And save the lucid dreams for another time.” Using wordplay from his hit song, “Lucid Dreams.”
Fans seemed to love the remix just as much as the original version!
