Adventure Club, Crankdat & Krewella Join Forces on Collaborative New Single “Next Life”

Earlier this year, Canadian electronic duo Adventure Club revealed that they joined forces with Krewella for the first time since 2012 — and they also brought along American DJ and producer Crankdat for good measure.

“Next Life,” the beautiful bass banger that released late last week via Ultra Music, is the highly anticipated result of all five artists’ collaborative efforts — and it certainly lived up to all the hype.

The melodic air perfectly blends each party’s distinctive sound with unique synths that create the ultimate feels trip. During the song’s tranquil buildup, Jahan and Yasmine Yousaf‘s celestial vocals are underscored by plucks that recapture the progressive sound that put Adventure Club on the map, all leading up to a euphonious dubstep drop that is signature to Crankdat.

According to Adventure Club’s Leighton James, he and Christian Srigley had already been working with Crankdat — born Cristian Smith — on “Next Life” before the decision to add the Yousaf sisters into the mix.

“We’ve been huge fans of Crankdat, it’s really dope that we were finally able to link up and make this happen,” James said in a release. “There was something about the way the track was shaping up, that it just felt like the perfect time and track to have some of our oldest and dearest friends Krewella hop on and really complete the song.”
