2019 is no longer the year of the pig, you guys! It’s officially the year of Kacey Musgraves. After taking home four golden records at this years Grammys, a sold-out tour, her first Coachella performance and her Barbie-inspired Met Gala look, Miss Musgraves is now the newest addition to IMG Models.
Following the Met Gala, IMG models announced that they will be representing the Texan singer moving forward. Kacey tweeted her excitement, saying, “So excited to be joining the @IMGmodels fam.”
IMG models represents some of the hottest models and celebs, so Kacey will be among the likes of Gigi Hadid, Bella Hadid, Hailey Bieber, Karlie Kloss and Dylan and Cole Sprouse. Not a bad bunch to be in the company of.

Kacey shined at this year’s Met Gala wearing an all pink Barbie fantasy with a matching pink convertible. The “Rainbow” singer transformed into a life-size Barbie doll with a long blonde wig, pink Moschino dress and classic Barbie accessories, which included a pink fuzzy shawl, hair-dryer purse and pink retro sunglasses. This year’s gala was the perfect showcase of Kacey’s pop art-like style and a great way to welcome her into the IMG world.

This is huge news for the country star, and exciting news her fans. IMG Models has a large network, which will afford Kacey a lot more opportunities. If the beginning of this year was any indicator of what was to come for the country darling, IMG models representing her just put that into overdrive. We’re sure there will be a lot of new and exciting things for our girl Kacey, and we’re looking forward to coming along for the ride!
