Valentino Khan 'Pony' Review

Saddle Up! Valentino Khan Released His New Single “Pony” From Upcoming EP

After releasing his epic collaboration “Novocain” with Kayzo back in January, American DJ and producer Valentino Khan just secured himself a spot on our summer playlist with his new single “Pony.” Serving as the first tease from his forthcoming EP on Mad Decent, “Pony” is guaranteed to pull shufflers to the dancefloor all festival season long.

With horse neighs and the pounding sounds of hooves hitting the ground, plus Khan’s signature style of wobbles and bass, this must-hear track charges in at three minutes and thirty seconds — however, we can’t seem to get it off of repeat!

Known for his unique versatility — incorporating elements of trap, bass, hardstyle, house and more — Khan has produced a multitude of bangers ranging from hip-hop anthems to electronic hits, and continually proves that his talent knows no bounds.

The world was first introduced to Valentino Khan in 2014, when he burst onto the scene with his debut EP, In Khan We Trust, on Skrillex‘s OWSLA label. In 2015, Khan’s original track “Deep Down Low” became an international sensation and was named “most played track by DJs” by 1001 Tracklists. Since then, the DJ has also earned a reputation as a remix master with official renditions for artists such as RL Grime, Alison Wonderland, Dillon Francis and Axwell & Ingrosso.

So dust off your shuffling shoes, saddle up and get ready for the ride. Check out the hot new bass house single below and let us know what you think in the comments section or by tweeting us your thoughts at @soundigest.
