Martin Garrix Shares Hilarious New Video for “Summer Days” Feat. Macklemore & Patrick Stump

Last month, Dutch DJ and record producer Martin Garrix teamed up with American rapper Macklemore and Fall Out Boy‘s Patrick Stump for his latest funk-EDM crossover, “Summer Days.”

Although the release may have snuck past some listeners, the official music video is finally here to turn heads and attract some long overdue attention.

Tuned to an easygoing bounce beat, “Summer Days” makes for a genuine sunny day jam. The well-known voices of Macklemore and Stump guide the track for smooth, undisturbed listening as Garrix (born Martijn Gerard Garritsen) drastically switches gears and gets playful with his sound.

“‘Summer Days’ is one of those tracks that makes you want to get in the car with your friends and blast it with the windows down,” Garrix says. “I’m honored to be working with Patrick and Macklemore on this track, since I think they are both great artists. They are both very different in terms of style which gave the track new dimensions. I’m super happy with the end result.”

The music video that accompanies this breezy ballad is nothing shy of a good time. Shot in Los Angeles, California by the famed Colin Tilley, the visual communication features all three artists in a comical narrative about an aberrant older woman that makes everyone she encounters sweat… excessively.

The trio are set to perform “Summer Days” for the first time at the 2019 MTV Movie & TV Awards on June 17.
