Governors Ball 2019 Bud Light

Bud Light Dive Bar Sessions: Governors Ball Edition

Something that is always really impressive at the Governors Ball are the lifestyle activations. Throughout the last few years, Bud Light has teamed up with artists of all genres to bring intimate dive bar-esque shows to their fans.
At the Governors Ball this year, Bud Light brought some of the festival acts to their own dive bar stage in the middle of the festival.

When approaching the activation, you’re greeted with a DJ blasting music, a rock-band set up, photo booth, beer and more!

In honor of this month being pride, Bud Light made it very special for the LGBTQ+ community. They debuted a Bud Light pride bottle, where $1 from each case sold is given to GLAAD.

Shana Barry, Bud Light’s Director of Experiential stated, “We were thrilled to join Governors Ball Music Festival to unofficially kick off summer by showcasing an incredible line up of emerging talent on our Dive Bar Session stage. We also kicked off Pride month by completely revamping our experience overnight, featuring a dedicated LGBTQ+ line up and limited-edition merchandise to help raise a toast to the community. Additionally, the festival showcased our beautiful Pride bottles, where $1 of every case sold goes to our long-standing partners at GLAAD. We can’t wait to show fans what else we have in store to celebrate Pride all month long.”

Artists like Tobi Lou, Tyler Yaweh and Vincint played the dive bar stage. Cold beers were available for purchase, while hanging out and watching these talented artists perform. We were really ecstatic to see this all come to life. We cannot wait to see what Bud Light does at next year’s Governors Ball!
