MKTO is back with a new single and we are here for it! Just last year MKTO had a major comeback with the single “How Can I Forget” and fans have been waiting patiently for more music from the duo, which consists of Malcolm Kelley and Tony Oller. The pair has proved, yet again, that they are very capable of creating a hit with the latest release, “Shoulda Known Better.”
In the new track, the boys describe the feeling of always being pulled back in by someone and how they should have known better than to give that person a call. During the chorus, Kelley and Oller sing, “I don’t drink no more / ’cause every time I do / I don’t think before I end up calling you / I can’t quit no oh / I been trying forever / I shoulda known better.” The boys describe the feeling of not being able to control themselves from a drunk call or text to an ex and always end up giving in to that person.
This song — like almost every song MKTO has put out over the years — is definitely a tune you can easily jam to and blast in your car. It has a great beat and the energy that will make you want to have fun and scream the lyrics when you turn it up.
In addition to releasing this single, the boys have also released a lyric video for their latest hit! We are so happy to hear new music from MKTO and hope we don’t have to wait much longer to hear even more music from the guys.
