Kacey Musgraves Will Continue Her Trek on ‘Oh, What a World: Tour II’

Exciting news, Kacey Musgraves fans! The 30-year-old “High Horse” singer has just added more tour dates to her Oh, What A World: Tour II!

Musgraves kicks off the new dates with a show in Las Vegas, Nevada on August 20. The tour will run through October 25 in the U.S., concluding in Nashville, Tennessee, and will resume for one night in Mexico City on March 30, 2020. Poolside, YOLA, Weyes Blood, Lucius and Vanessa Zamora will join as opening acts. Maggie Rogers will also make a special one-night-only appearance at the Nashville show on October 25.

The songwriter shared the news with her fans on her social media channels:

The Oh, What A World: Tour II is in support of Musgraves’ multiple Grammy Award-winning album, Golden Hour. The tour title is a reference to a track on the album called “Oh, What A World.”

Golden Hour was released in 2018 to critical acclaim. It won all four of its nominated Grammy Award categories: Album of the Year and Best Country Album. Tracks from the album, specifically “Butterflies” and “Space Cowboy,” won the Grammy for Best Country Solo Performance and Best Country Song, respectively.

Golden Hour also won the Country Music Association and Academy of Country Music Award for Album of the Year, making Musgraves only the sixth artist to win all three major Album of the Year (Grammy, CMA and ACM) awards for the same album, as well as the second artist to win the Grammy, CMA, ACM and all-genre Grammy Album of the Year.

Fans can expect to hear a mixture of songs from Golden Hour and Musgraves’ previous albums, Pageant Material and Same Trailer Different Park on the setlist.
