Benny Blanco and Juice WRLD Remember High School in Their Song “Graduation”

Benny Blanco has recently teamed up with Juice WRLD for a new track that will for sure make you feel very nostalgic. Benny took to social media to explain that hearing the song “Graduation” by Vitamin C when he was younger inspired him to create this modern version of the song. This song will bring back memories of your high school years no matter how old you are.

In this modern version of “Graduation,” Juice WRLD sings about topics like high school drama, homework, annoying teachers and overall how life isn’t really much different after graduation. Juice WRLD touches on this in the lyric “There’s still gossip, there’s still drama, there’s still problems / There’s a right and there’s a wrong / There’s still people that I think won’t love me ’til I’m gone / Low-key miss the days walkin’ ’round in my school halls / But now I got a bigger job, the world screamin’ my songs”.

In addition to the release of the song, Benny and Juice WRLD also teamed up to make a music video for the track. The video is full of many familiar faces that you definitely will recognize, including names like Hailee Steinfeld, Noah Cyrus, David Dobrik and many more. The video is set up in the format of the end credits of a teen movie. The video shows the different directions that students’ lives go in beyond high school and we’re sure if you watch this video you’ll definitely think back to the time you were one of those students. One thing we know for sure after watching this music video is that we really think Benny Blanco should get the cast of this video back together and make a movie because we would love to see it. Check out the video for “Graduation” down below and leave a comment, letting us know what your favorite high school memory was.
