Niall Horan Is Getting Back on the Road for the Nice To Meet Ya Tour

It’s official! Niall Horan is hitting the road. The “Nice To Meet Ya” singer has announced his tour after his most recent single, dubbing it the Nice To Meet Ya Tour, with special guests Lewis Capaldi (of “Somebody to Love” fame), and Fletcher (of “Undrunk” fame).

The tour is hitting major cities in the U.S., as well as Toronto, Canada, with 17 dates total. It will kick off on April 20 at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville and will conclude on May 20 at the SAP Center in San Jose, California.

In another tweet, the “This Town” singer announced that the tour would be a world tour. However, no dates outside the U.S. apart from the one Canadian date have been announced yet as of press time.

Tickets for the tour will go on sale on November 8 on Horan’s official website and Live Nation.

The “Slow Hands” singer will be performing at several shows on the iHeartRadio Jingle Ball tour prior to his own headlining tour. The Nice To Meet Ya Tour is the singer’s third headlining tour. He previously went on two tours, The Flicker Sessions and Flicker World Tour in support of his debut album, Flicker, which spawned the hit singles “Slow Hands,” “This Town” and “Too Much to Ask.”

While Flicker showcased the singer-songwriter’s more folk-pop side, “Nice To Meet Ya” has heavy influences of pop and rock. This suggests that the new album may have more rock-influenced tracks.

“Nice To Meet Ya” is steadily rising the charts. Horan shared the news that the track is #47 on the Global Top 50 Spotify chart. So far, it has peaked at number 83 on the Billboard Hot 100. He is encouraging his fans to stream, share and buy the song to get it flying up the charts.
