This soulful song is the 8th track on SZA’s 2014 EP Z, and we think it’s highly underrated. SZA actually plays with a sample of Marvin Gaye‘s “Mandota,” highlighting her 70s inspired, retro-jazzy sound. SZA says that she wrote this song during a really lonely time in her life and felt inspired by the 2001 romantic film Sweet November.
