Ally Brooke recently released another single and this might just be our favorite one yet. The single, “No Good,” is the first single of hers to not feature another artist on the track, and she absolutely killed it on this one, proving she is just fine on her own. The song has a funky and groovy feel to it and is definitely a song to which you are going to want to dance. “No Good” is very catchy and delves into the topic of knowing a person your with isn’t good for you but realizing it’s too hard to leave them.
There has been a point in all of our lives when we knew someone was bad, yet we still couldn’t help falling for them, and those are the exact feelings Ally expresses in her new record. Ally sings lyrics like, “You put me through hell, but I can’t quit you, for Heaven’s sake,” and “Make a promise that I’m leaving // But my heart only wants what it wants.” This song has a very disco-esque feel to it and lyrics that will definitely get stuck in your head.
Considering that this is Ally’s first featureless single, we have high expectations for her upcoming debut solo album expected to drop sometime next year. Ally recently gained a lot of confidence while competing on this season of Dancing With the Stars. Brooke made it all the way to the finals, finishing the competition in 3rd place. We are super excited to see what Ally does next, and we are sure 2020 is going to be a big year for her.
