Is rock n’ roll dead? Maybe. Though 2019 saw the return of My Chemical Romance, Green Day and even Black Veil Brides, 2019 itself didn’t see too much to come out of the alternative scene that made any huge waves.
That isn’t to say that nothing came out of alternative music in 2019. In fact, there’s still enough goodness to go around. In fact, it seems like 2019 was more or less the foundation for what’s going to be an excellent 2020 — and we’re more than ready for that.
In the meantime though, we’ll be celebrating all the good that came out of alternative music in 2019.
