Berkley’s On Fire is easily one of the best alternative records to come out of 2019, and the highlight track from this record is “Trashbag Baby.” The call-and-response style vocals of the Becker brothers is genius (especially considering how different the two boys sing), and it lyrically might be one of the best songs that SWMRS has put out. Musically, it moves away from their punk-rock roots, but as the boys mature, this more new wave/post-punk sound is something that they should definitely consider — it suits them very, very well.
