Camila Cabello dropped by the The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon show last week to debut the live performance of her new song, “My Oh My.” The track is the latest single off of her brand new album, Romance, which dropped Friday, Dec. 6.
Fallon introduced the performance by calling the track his “favorite song on the album.”
Fun fact: the track was actually a last-minute addition to the album. In fact, if you buy a physical copy of the CD, the track is not even on the disc or listed on the tracklist!
The last-minute addition of “My Oh My” has definitely paid off. The song was added to multiple “top hits” playlists on both Apple Music and Spotify and has racked up more streams than any of the other non-singles.
The Sun was the first publication to announce the track, stating, “The deliciously carnal ‘My Oh My’ featuring US rapper DaBaby is her naughtiest yet — and sounds like a sequel to global hit “Havana” — as she sings: ‘My mama doesn’t trust him, he’s only here for one thing but, so am I.'”
For the debut live TV performance, Cabello and her backup dancers donned outfits similar to cheerleading uniforms. The rapper, DaBaby, who features on the song, and a group of male backup dancers wore varsity jackets. They danced on a stage with a green screen and neon lights.
The performance was one of Cabello’s best yet. She seamlessly danced the fun choreography while singing on key and delivered some of her best vocals. Best of all, it was clear that everybody was having a blast during the performance. The 22-year-old singer and the 27-year-old rapper had great stage presence and chemistry together.
