We love artists that are activists, and no one seems to be doing it better than Ariana Grande in 2019. The results are in, and through the Sweetner World Tour, Ariana has gotten more than 33,000 voter registrations and actions. All this was done through her partnership with HeadCount. HeadCount helps fans register to vote and encourages voter participation. The nonprofit works with artists of all genres and even shows up at some of the biggest US music festivals.

Major props to the “Thank U, Next” superstar, though, because Ariana put on the most successful tour event with which HeadCount has ever partnered. Since 2004, HeadCount has registered more than 600,000 voters. Music fans want our voices heard, and Ari is proud of her fans for getting out there and speaking up.

Ahead of the 2020 election, maybe change begins with Arianators. The #ThankUNextGen movement really made waves. Musicians are some of the biggest voices in our society today. With millions of social media followers and big touring platforms, HeadCount provides artists with the opportunity to make a difference, especially with young fans who are new to voting. We hope Ariana encourages others to artists to make a change during their own 2020 tours. After all, there are quite a few coming up!
