Joe Alwyn Is Flattered To Be Taylor Swift’s Muse

It’s no secret that Joe Alwyn has been the inspiration behind a majority of Taylor Swift‘s recent songs. Swift’s latest album, Lover, is basically an ode to him and their 3-year-strong relationship.

Most of what the general public knows about their relationship comes from Swift’s art. The couple is largely private about their life together and is very rarely photographed together. In the past, they have both made comments on why they choose to never talk about their relationship.

However, it seems that a true Christmas Miracle has happened because, for the first time, Alwyn gave everyone a little inside scoop into his relationship with the pop superstar. In an interview with The Sunday Times, Alwyn briefly commented on his relationship with the pop star. When asked if he minded being Swift’s muse, he said, “No, not at all. No. It’s flattering.”

The Favourite actor also elaborated that he doesn’t pay much attention to the media frenzy surrounding their relationship. “[I don’t] pay attention to what I don’t want to pay attention to.”

“I turn everything else down on a dial,” Alwyn explained. “I don’t have any interest in tabloids. I know what I want to do, and that’s this, and that’s what I am doing.”

The British actor most recently starred in a new adaptation of A Christmas Carol, in which he plays Bob Cratchit. The miniseries premiered last Thursday, December 19, on FX. The Sunday Times let it slip that Swift would be “watching [it] with Alwyn and his family in London in the final days before Christmas.” This means that the couple will be spending time together over the holiday season in London.

Most recently, Alwyn and Swift were spotted after the premiere of the movie CATS, which Swift stars in, in New York City.

The couple seems stronger and happier together than ever!
