Commonly associated with Ja Rule, Fyre Festival was supposed to be a super exclusive and luxurious music festival experience, with single-day tickets starting at $500. While things were clearly going wrong from the very start, there were still plenty of festival-goers planning to attend, and those who did end up attending were treated to a Lord of the Flies-inspired meltdown that was broadcast for the world to see via social media.

The fallout resulted in two dueling-banjos-style documentaries, Fyre Fraud on Hulu and FYRE: The Greatest Party that Never Happened on Netflix in 2019.
