Up-and-coming country music artists have been making big waves recently and Ingrid Andress is no exception. From her big hit, “More Hearts Than Mine,” to her latest release, “Life of the Party,” she’s quickly gaining momentum in the country music world. Andress has just announced the release of her debut album Lady Like, which will be coming out in late March. Thankfully, she has released bits and pieces for fans and we’re living for these sweet and meaningful songs.

This song’s definitely a sad girl anthem for country music listeners. Andress said “Y’all know i love a good party and a sad song. So just in time for Valentine’s Day, here is “Life Of The Party,” a sad party anthem brought to u by me. You’re welcome” about the song and it definitely will put you in your feels! We really love this song because, while it sounds like it would be a fun and maybe somewhat edgy song, when you actually listen to it it’s about a heartbroken girl trying to live her best life after a rough breakup. We have all been there a time or two, so the lyrics in the chorus hit hard for many. “Round here everybody loves me, but they don’t know that I’ve been hurting // Coz baby ever since you left me // I’ve been the life of the party” is the chorus and tells a story about how she’s handling the pain of a breakup. This song’s such an amazing song and every girl can relate to it, which is why we love it!
We definitely are having a hard time waiting for her album to come out because we need it now! We are also excited to see her on a few big tours this year, one with Dan + Shay and the other with Tim McGraw. This will be a summer to remember for both us and Andress!
