11 Unforgettable Covers Christina Grimmie Left for Us

On March 12th, 1994, Christina Grimmie was born and made the world a bit of a brighter place. Today, the pop powerhouse and YouTube sensation would’ve been turning 26 years old.

Grimmie started to gain popularity in 2009 at 15 when she began her YouTube channel, officially commencing her channel with Hannah Montana’s “Don’t Want To Be Torn.” The catchy Miley Cyrus bop, “Party in the USA,” was the second cover Grimmie ever posted on YouTube, which quickly earned her YouTube recognition. She started a channel after her friend kept pushing her to do so, to share her talents with the world. To this day, the singer has over 595 million views. The singer-songwriter had the natural ability to capture hearts around the globe and make each cover a version of her own. In 2014, Grimmie finished third on Season 6 of NBC’s The Voice with Adam Levine as her coach.

On June 10th, 2016, Christina was tragically killed following a concert performance at The Plaza Live in Orlando, FL.
