Today we’re celebrating the birthday of one of our favorite rising R&B stars, Kiana Ledé. Within the past couple of years, Kiana has grown immensely in popularity racking up millions of streams and hundreds of thousands of fans. More recently, Kiana found great success within her mini-projects, like her 2018 EP Selfless, 2019 EP Myself and notable collaborations featuring Offset, Lil Baby, French Montana and Jennifer Lewis.
Kiana chose to release her full-length debut album KIKIon her birthday today, marking a new age of her musical career. Although we absolutely love Kiana’s original work, we wanted to remind you of just how multi-talented this 23-year-old singer is.
For the past couple of years, Kiana has been working on a segment called “#SoulFoodSessions” on her YouTube channel, where she performs her own renditions of her favorite songs. Since we consider Kiana Ledé to be the queen of mashups, we have compiled a definitive list of her best #SoulFoodSessions to date.
