Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom Adorably Reveal Their Baby’s Gender

Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom are having a girl! The 35-year-old “Never Worn White” singer posted a photo of her fiance, Orlando Bloom, with pink icing smeared on his face. The photo was clearly taken during an adorably messy gender reveal, with the geotag of the photo being “Girls Run The World.”

The American Idol judge revealed on March 5, that she and Bloom, 43, are expecting their first child together. She revealed the news on an Instagram Live with her fans and then released her song, “Never Worn White,” as an official announcement. In the music video, she showed off her baby bump and looked absolutely stunning. During the Instagram Live reveal, she revealed that she and Bloom are “excited and happy” for the arrival of their little one.

“There’s a lot that will be happening this summer; not only will I be giving birth — literally — but also figuratively to something you guys have been waiting for,” Perry told fans, alluding to her forthcoming album. She also joked on Twitter that she no longer has to suck in her baby bump.

Bloom also shared his excitement during the baby reveal by posting a photo of his pregnant fiance to his Instagram account with the caption, “My babies blooming.”

The couple was set to be married later this summer in Japan, but unfortunately due to the coronavirus outbreak, their wedding plans are on hold.

The “Firework” singer is taking precautions and following the “Stay at Home” CDC order guidelines. She posted a photo of herself eating pickles at home to her social media channels two weeks ago amidst the coronavirus pandemic.

We are so thrilled for Katy and Orlando and cannot wait to see all the beautiful photos of their baby when she arrives.
