Country music duo Maddie and Tae are back again with some new music that’s both heartfelt and fun. Artists around the world have been offering a little bit of hope by releasing music in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic, and it’s helping those who’ve been impacted the most.
The country duo celebrated their album release with a virtual listening party with fans, since they had to forgo the traditional album listening party for obvious reasons.
From hits that we have already heard on country airwaves to brand new tunes, The Way It Feels does not disappoint. Some songs that we haven’t been able to get out of our heads are, “Bathroom Floor,” “Tourist in this Town,” “Die From a Broken Heart” and the surprise feature “Lay Here with Me” with Dierks Bentley. Maddie and Tae also wrote a sweet song about their husbands titled “My Man,” and we’re still swooning over it.
Pandemic permitting, fans of Maddie and Tae may be able to see catch them this summer, which is when they’re scheduled to hit the road with country music band Lady Antebellum. And though we’re all longing for summer days and jumping back into our regular routines, we now have time to listen to our favorite artists and reflect this new normal, so why not start with The Way It Feels
