1.Opening for Shawn Mendes
Opening for Mendes on his Shawn Mendes: The Tour was one of the most exciting things for Cara’s fans this year. Not only did it mean seeing their favorite Canadians perform in one night, but it also meant getting tons of backstage content. That content included Cara trying to convince a club bouncer that Mendes was 21 because “he was tall enough” (Spoiler: No, Mendes did not gain entry to the club). As a result of touring with Mendes over spring and summer, Cara released an EP titled This Summer, which reflected on the tour and the memories that were made during that time.
