Machine Gun Kelly still gets excited when he hears his songs on the radio for the first time!
Even though the rapper has been churning out hits for nearly ten years, he was still stoked to hear “Bloody Valentine,” one of the singles from his upcoming album, on the radio for the first time. His girlfriend, actress Megan Fox, also shared his sentiments; she starred in the music video, released in May, which served as the official confirmation of the couple’s dating status.
In the video shared to Kelly’s Instagram, the couple rock out in the car together when a SiriusXM station is playing the song.
The rapper and actress started dating following Fox’s split from her ex-husband, Brian Austin Green. They met on the set of their upcoming film, Midnight in the Switchgrass, earlier this year. Previously, Fox referred to him as her “twin flame.”
“Instead of a soulmate, a twin flame is actually where a soul has ascended into a high enough level that it can be split into two different bodies at the same time,” the 34-year-old “Jennifer’s Body” actress said. “So we’re actually two halves of the same soul, I think. And I said that to him almost immediately, because I felt it right away.”
The two have posted several cute pictures together on their respective Instagram pages.
In addition to a successful music career, Kelly has been in a few movies, including Nerve, The Dirt, and Bird Box, among others.
The 30-year-old rapper and actor is set to release his new album, Tickets To My Downfall, this Friday, September 25. He has released several singles leading up to the album’s release including “Bloody Valentine,” “Concert Aliens,” and “My Ex’s Best Friend,” the latter of which features Blackbear. He’s been counting down the days on Instagram until his album comes out, most recently posting the album cover to his page.
