Our favorite British rockstar hosted the biggest Halloween party this year at the legendary Madison Square Garden in New York City. Fans have been waiting for this event for about 2 years now since it was announced and the wait was definitely well worth it. Harry Styles held absolutely nothing back for the two night event appropriately titled ‘Harryween’ and even had a few surprises up his sleeves.
The first night of the event Styles and his band came on stage dressed as characters from the Wizard of Oz. Harry of course being the main character Dorothy skipping on stage wearing her iconic blue dress, ruby red slippers, and carrying toto in a basket. Singing a cover of “Somewhere Over The Rainbow” as MSG was lit up with rainbow lights made night one of Harryween truly a magical night. On the second night of the event, on Halloween night, Styles came out dressed as a Pierrot clown head to toe in ruffles. Fans were left speechless when he surprised the crowd with the fan favorite unreleased song “Medicine.” Styles then intoxicated the crowd even more by transitioning into a cover of Britney Spears‘ “Toxic.” Harry closed out both nights with his song “Kiwi,” which had the entirety of MSG literally shaking by the amount of energy jumping around in the arena.
Harry wasn’t the only one dressed to impress at this Fancy Dress Party; fans of the artist showed up in their best and most creative costumes at Harryween. Harry Styles certainly knows how to throw the most elaborate, colorful, and energy packed halloween party. These special shows marked the fifth time Harry has played the Garden just on this tour alone. One thing we can certainly say is that we hope Harryween happens again every year from now on.
