The song that Charlie Puth has been teasing on TikTok for months is finally here! The singer recently released his newest single “Light Switch” along with an accompanying music video. The song comes months after Puth posted a video on TikTok of the beginning stages of the song.

The upbeat track is fun to listen to after seeing an inside look of the production by Puth. Puth sings on the songs chorus “You turn me on like a light switch // When you’re movin’ your body around and around.” The song is a catchy pop track that is easy to sing along and bop your head to.
In the video for the song Puth is seen sulking over a breakup and gets motivated to try and win back the girl. With a little bit of jazzercise, Charlie’s confidence transforms throughout the video. In the end he comes to find that maybe its not what’s on the outside that counts the most. Charlie stated when talking about the videos direction, “I created the concept for this music video based on an idea I had and shared with the incredible director, Christian Breslauer. I wanted to humorously portray all the things we sometimes try to change about ourselves in order to capture that unrequited love, when deep down we should be changing our lives only to benefit ourselves and no one else.”
We are thrilled that Charlie Puth is releasing music again as it’s been quite some time since the singer has dropped anything. Puth has been teasing the creation of his 3rd album for a while now so hopefully we can expect more from Puth this year.
