DNCE Returns From Hiatus With Catchy Collaboration with Kygo Called “Dancing Feet”

Kygo is bringing his unique blend of EDM and pop the masses with his new collaboration with DNCE. DNCE has been on hiatus since 2018 when the Jonas Brothers reunited, but Joe, Jack, and JinJoo are back. The three piece dance rock group is the perfect fit for this Kygo track. “Dancing Feet” has a retro vibe that blends the talents of both artists. Kygo previously worked with artists such as Selena Gomez and X Ambassadors, so collabing with DNCE was the next on the bucket list. And it paid off, because even in February, “Dancing Feet” is surely to be the song of the summer.

Joe Jonas has smooth vocals that work perfectly with Kygo’s 80s-inspired beats on “Dancing Feet.” The track shows off JinJoo Lee‘s incredible guitar skills while Jack Lawless holds it down on the drums. Sure, the lyrics are simple, but nothing beats the vibe of a sunshiny dance track. I think we can all agree that there’s no better feeling than grooving with someone you love. Also, with the retro inspiration, there’s also a node in the first verso to Tears For Fears.

Of course, the only thing that would make “Dancing Feet” even better is an 80s styled music video. So, we have Kygo and DNCE as the worst employees at a Palm Tree resort. They’re joy-riding in the valeted car, awkward pool boys, playing tennis with wooden rackets, and of course setting up an impromptu concert in the rain. Lastly, we have a full dance battle between Kygo and Joe in a nightclub. The vibes are immaculate and the fun costuming makes it even better.

So, if you already started on your Summer 2022 playlist while manifesting warming weather, we got the perfect track for you. “Dancing Feet” was a great return for DNCE. We’re happy to see them back from hiatus and stronger than ever. And, Kygo continues to impress with his collaborations, clean production, and unique beats. The blending of musical genres is always impressive and this track is keeping us on our toes.
