The Monster Energy Outbreak Tour finally rolled through NYC and we were there to witness it! The tour stopped at Warsaw in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, an unusual spot, as they typically host punk shows; but can you turn down having pierogies at a Polish venue while listening to hits like “Material Girl” and “Big Energy”?
This tour, which happens quite often, brings out music’s current outbreak stars. Latto, Saucy Santana and Kali are just some of hip hop’s rising stars that happen to be on this tour together. Kali is slowly but surely climbing her way to the top, as her stage presence was impeccable. We can’t wait to see what’s up next for her!
Up next was Saucy Santana, who brought a crazy energy to the sold out show. Instantly, you can see fans faces light up once he hit the stage. The “Material Girl” himself looked like he was having the best time on stage, which made the whole night worth it.
Brooklyn was gifted with a surprise after Saucy Santana’s set when hip hop legend Funk Flex started DJing on stage. The crowd went wild and Funk kept fans occupied before Latto hit the stage.
Unfortunately, Latto was a bit late to her set time and fans started becoming uneasy. Though, the long wait was worth it and the current queen of the Billboard charts graced the stage with full production and a whole crew of dancers. You would never know you were in a tiny Brooklyn venue by looking at Latto’s stage. Latto’s production and stage presence is something that belongs in arenas and we hope to see her there some day soon!
