LOCATIONS Are Bringing Healthcare and Tunes to Fans’ Ears

New music that brings awareness to social causes? Sign us up! Brooklyn-based LOCATIONS is currently on a mission to unite the working class through music. The two-piece alt-rockers released their latest single, “MOVES,” about celebrating individuality. Of the single, the band explained, “An anthem celebrating individuality, renewal, and of course dancing, “MOVES” marks the emergence of a funkier side of LOCATIONS. “MOVES” was the first song Locations wrote after one of the band members recovered from a major medical event that put the band on hold for several months. The disco-inspired track indicates a period of energetic resurgence for Locations, and a chance to dance for their fans (but only if they want to).”

Not only did the band release this new track, they are also aiming to raise awareness and funds for Campaign for NY Health, whose goal is to make universal healthcare a reality for all New Yorkers. LOCATIONS are “hoping to focus the positivity and energy of MOVES to support the Campaign for NY Health and make Universal Healthcare a reality for all New Yorkers. HEALTHCARE IS A HUMAN RIGHT and we hope the song will move our fans to use their power, time, money, and voices. Sign up for the campaign, volunteer your time, call your representatives every week, and help guarantee access to healthcare as a right for everyone, starting with the great state of New York.” To help raise funds for this cause, the band have created a t-shirt where proceeds will go toward the campaign.
